Sonny Smith is a Thai British racing driver
Sonny started his racing career at the early age of 7 where he immediately starting achieving many podium finishes and wins.
At the tender age of 9 Sonny achieved more success by finishing 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd in the British Championship, marking him out as one to watch for the future.
Sonny then went on to race in Europe in the OKJ series along with the best karters in the world where he came 3rd in the Champions of the Future Championship in Belgium.
At the age of 14 and on the advice of Sonny’s management team, Sonny has made the move up to cars, joining the Ginetta Junior series. This is where current F1 driver Lando Norris and others cut their teeth in the move from Karts to Cars.
Sonny won his first race and went on to take the Rookie Cup in the winter series of November 2021.
Sonny’s management team, Infinity Motorsport, manage current F1 driver George Russell and have done this since 2014.
